Wise Ave Tudor

The relationship between cabinetry and architecture has forever changed. The future of luxury residential design requires professionals to bring a deeper level of collaboration from concept to installation resulting in the ultimate tailored experience.

It’s always great for us to work on concepts with other creatives who are open to the potential our capabilities can introduce to the design process, and are trying to push the envelope of design in pursuit of the best product for the client.

Working with Detail Homes on this bar in a modern tudor home allowed us to walk the fine line between artistic and realistic. This bar is positioned in the heart of the home, not tucked away in a basement. It is seen and experienced everyday, nestled between the kitchen and the dining room where a butlery would typically be expected.

David Charlez Designs broke the mold of open concept architecture, which is common in homes today, and presented an opportunity for a unique and functional space.

This bar is an entertainer’s hub with dual beverage refrigerators, yet features elevated details such as curved moldings that wrap and encase this cabinet with studded panels, creating a beautiful fitted-furniture piece that functions as interactive art.

“I enjoy bringing concepts and challenges to Designed & Made. The iterative design process we’ve used together for 10+ years has always yielded results that exceed expectations. ”
